From our school, we want to join the feeling stated in the previous quote. For this reason, we are going to share the work done by some of the boys and girls of our school to participate in the First Lego League held on the 9th of February in Salamanca.

FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. is an exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) programme for 6-9 year olds. Each year a theme relevant to the world around them is chosen as a focus for the children’s work. The teams research the topic, displaying their ideas on a Show Me poster, build a LEGO® model and program one part to move using LEGO Education WeDo 2.0. FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. rapidly develops teamwork, design, programming and communication skills, but the most important thing is that it is great fun and makes the children feel proud of what they have achieved!

The 2018-2019 challenge theme was…

From the Lego Classroom of the school we  proudly show you how our little astronauts have been investigating, designing and creating their “Lego-Moon Station”.

To build their Moon Station, our little astronauts had to research on space and the moon, with the help of books, new technologies and Lego constructions.
